Katie Zhang

Katie gained planning experience in California following the completion of her Master of Regional Planning at Cornell University in 2022, where she assisted on a range of development projects. Her work included supporting the preparation of planning documentation, navigating the resource consent process, and attending hearings related to residential and industrial developments.

Katie previously interned at Sentinel Planning, where she gained experience applying the Auckland Unitary Plan within the resource consent process and broader Auckland planning framework. 

Katie seeks to contribute positively to both client outcomes and the built environment through her combined planning and design experience and her understanding of the wider industry context.

In her free time, she likes to go travelling, snowboarding, pilates, painting and likes to explore local coffee stores.
