Lynka May

Lynka began her planning career in local government, working at Far North District Council between 2018 and 2019 before joining Auckland Council as a Planner in 2020. During this time, she was part of the Albany and East Coast Bays team, and later the Devonport-Takapuna team.

In 2024, Lynka was promoted to Senior Planner, building a broad range of experience across residential, commercial, and recreational developments. Her work has included processing a variety of resource consent applications, including for a retirement village.

Originally from the Far North, Lynka grew up on a farm and maintains a strong connection to the region, regularly returning to visit family.

Outside of work, Lynka enjoys reading, pilates, going for walks, café hopping, and op shopping.
