Brendan has over 6 years’ experience with Auckland Council beginning as a Graduate Planner in September 2013 working his way up to an Intermediate Planner in March 2016. Brendan graduated from University College Dublin where he studied Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy. Brendan worked in the Takapuna Office and in the Resource Consenting and Monitoring & Compliance team, spending the past two years largely working within Albany, Long Bay and East Coast Bays. Brendan has been involved in a wide range of resource consent projects whilst at Auckland Council, including projects for large scale residential apartments, childcare facilities, office blocks, subdivisions and a variety of residential, rural and commercial developments.
Brendan joined Sentinel Planning at the start of 2017 and has been involved in a number of large intensive residential developments, mostly of the 10 to 30 unit scale.
Outside of work, Brendan enjoys fishing, going to the beach and visiting Ireland when he can.
