Sentinel Planning were approached by Jackie and Chris Reeve via Councillor Alison Roe to assist with a legacy project to create a playground in Takapuna funded by the local community. Simon worked with the Reeves, the local board, and playground designer Philippa Bolland of Future Landscapes in transforming this concept into reality over a two year period.
Sentinel Planning lead the project team in gaining consent on a pro bono basis (as a gift to the community and secured the services of all technical specialists free of charge). This enabled the vision of the million dollar playground to become a reality with the significant contribution of the Reeve family and other local Takapuna businesses and residents.
